Thank you to everyone from our community for joining together to celebrate our town.  Members from our Event’s Committee, History Committee and our Town Council all worked diligently to organize and plan this event.   It is always so much fun to see people from all over our town join together for good old fashion family fun.

The day began at 1:00pm in the south lawn of the Town Hall for a special ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Town Hall Pavilion.  This project was made possible thanks to funding received through the Putnam County Commission Recreational Enhancement Grant.  This pavilion will be home to future town gatherings, events and may also be rented for weddings and other celebrations.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the “Red House” and our town museum were enjoyed by many town residents and community members until 3:00pm.  The town museum can be toured by anyone during regular business hours or even during our History Committee meetings which take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.

The evening festivities kicked off at 4:00pm at the Town Park.  Free foot, kids inflatables, live music and much more was enjoyed by all those who attended.  Overall this event was a lot of fun and the town’s Events Planning Committee would like to thank all those for attending.
